⭕ Families that have inherited a coin collection have asked themselves, how can we really locate a coin dealer with integrity? First step (101) is just to call around and see if the dealer belongs to the American Numismatic Association or the ANA.
The ANA has a code of ethics which all members must abide by to keep there membership. Second, the dealer needs to know what he is doing right? I mean the dealers uncle might be Billy Graham but if he has only been trading in coins 3 years how could he be a seasoned veteran? And that is what you want! Well over 30 years ago as a teen I remember attending the giant (to me at the time) coin show at the Macon Coliseum. The chairman of the show became a friend and encouraged me to set up as a dealer and I did. Over the next 30 years I have conducted a clean and honest coin business that would have made my friends faith in me proud. I am a life member of the ANA now, and my honesty has never been questioned. In fact I have done many estate appraisals for two national banks that needed everything to be just right. I have bought and sold millions of dollars worth of coins since those early days in Macon and when you are in need of someone to put your faith in, please consider giving me a call.
