Looking For 2017 Contract Surveyor
Hi, I am a Geomatic and Mapping Technician
I am looking for a Washington State Licensed Surveyor to work with on a few Contracts.... maybe more depending on how they complete. A Surveyor thats willing to help build a business while mentoring others. Dont be shy if you are new to having a license, I can help offset the new with my experience in this area.
I was led to believe that the Surveying Profession was growth orientated, sharing the knowledge and art of surveying with the next generation of Surveyors. I want to be part of a business retaining that thought by training the next generation of Surveyors.
The technology that is at our fingertips is quite complex and is only more complex as time passes, this is not something someone should just try, even though the current rules allow such a thing. We need a true and clear understanding of these systems.
On a personal note: The hands-on allowance of getting a Surveyors License is the hard way of doing this. After 11 hard years in this career my only reasonable option for obtaining my LSIT, would be guidance by a professional. So, I am your first working student and business partner.
There is an opportunity for a new office or the expansion of an existing office to move into my area. I want be part of this new office. I have clients and projects waiting for a Licensed Surveyor to back their projects. An office will bring in the walk-in clients, I have a wide set of skills and 11 years of experience to help complete a project, I have worked under many titles in the past... drafter, designer, office assistant, researcher, planner, fact checker, survey technician, I.T., field manager, office manager, project manager... I can wear many hats. Admittingly, I do not have the professional stamp needed to satisfy some of my clients land development needs.
