Vintage Aries Of Mexico Tournament Backgammon Set


⭕ Vintage Aries of Mexico tournament backgammon set in classic colors. This is one of the Aries of Mexico boards that are hard to find in such good condition. The spacious playing surface and beautiful craftsmanship will be the envy of your friends. If you love backgammon and play around you know what I mean when I say Aries of Mexico made a GREAT board. (This is the very board Ari and Jackie Onassis played.) Finding a better board today would be difficult, including boards costing $2000 US.

Its playing surface is absolutely smooth as the leather pips are flush with the felt. The dice roll true and the checkers slide smoothly. The dice get excellent but quiet action.

Tech Specs: Green felt board.
Dimensions: 20 7/8 x 13 3/4 x 2 1/2.
Checkers: Red and ivory, just under 1 3/4 chips by 3/8 thick inches diameter. This is a full size, Aries tournament board.
Pips: Red and black
Leather: Exterior is black pigskin with classic tan/brown/tan leather center stripes. Beautiful.
Playing surface: Green felt in outstanding condition, no pilling, stains, or marks.
Hardware: Classic brass latches and hinges.
Cups: Pigskin leather in great condition with green felt lining and tournament requisite lip inside.
Dice: Original red and Ivory professional dice and green doubling cube.
