I should also mention (I forgot) that all my cushions are made with Marine Grade foam, blue color vs the cheaper brown production boat foam. It is 4 times more expensive as its mildew proof. All foam cushions sealed with plastic covering to protect from spills, all S/S staples used where wood backing is used, high grade vinyl heavy duty zippers, UV marine grade stitching and high grade heavy duty Velcro. This adds thousands to your upgrade costs!!! This is a Great Pearson 323 (Total measured length is 35 feet!) Sailboat, Hull # 319, 2nd owner now since 1989. Many great trips and sails! Hull in great condition, needs slight TLC sanding, etc. No blisters at all. Years ago I sanded down to bare glass and sprayed on Vinyl-ester Epoxy coating. I travel a lot so I cant spend as much time as I used to on it. Mooring is at Burr Brothers in Marion, MA. on Buzzards Bay. Perhaps the greatest harbor in NE? The Pearson 323 is a very sturdy, safe and heavy boat. I have been through 12 foot seas and it just plows through it, been in Noreasters coming from Nantucket, 20 foot rollers, etc, etc. Trips back and forth to the Chesapeake. This is a 1981 Coastal Cruiser, and strong enough for Ocean passages in my view. Very stable. Installed new $300+ secondary diesel fuel filter (change filter from the top, no engine bleeding necessary!), Reconditioned engine bed. Has a new oil pan and oil pump as well. The repair shop apparently didnt get the cam shaft seal on properly and gave me the run around when i tried to get them to repair it again.
