This is a very high quality roper saddle very suitable as a ranch or trail saddle, from Saddlesmith of Texas. Original price for this custom handmade saddle was over $2300.
Dale Fredricks is a very famous western rodeo roper personality, and he designed the seat and VERY comfortable tree. The saddle just seems to fit both the human and horse body perfectly!
Additionally - its a real looker and conversation piece, with its incredible western American Indian motif and thunderbird theme!
The saddle is in medium brown leather color, suede on the seat, with awesome Thunderbird or Phoenix bird tooling all around the trim areas -- Awesome!
This custom Dale Fredricks roper saddle was originally over $2300, but you can have this one at a fraction of the price! Dont waste your money on a cheap saddle!
This saddle has been extremely well taken care of. It has been cleaned and oiled consistently, and will continue to be an awesome pleasure, ranch or trail saddle, for a long time to come.
It is extremely comfortable -- maybe one of the most comfortable saddles I have ever ridden.
Saddle will sell with a very nice cinch and leather back strap backsrap.
Saddle seat is about a 15-1/2 (photos are a bit tilted), with a 7-1/2 to 8 gullet -- FQHB.
The saddle has a leather wrapped dally, huge stainless steel Double D rings, rawhide cantle and really nice, large, rawhide stirrups (great roper or trail stirrups).
The wool underneath is in great condition.
Saddle has only been stored indoors over the years, in a dry clean and climate controlled environment. All of the leather is very supple and very well taken care of.
This is a terrific saddle. Buyer is going to love it!
