2001 Rockwood Pop Up Tent Camper
This camper has pretty much everything you could ask for in a pop up tent camper: two-way fridge, two burner indoor/outdoor stove, furnace with thermostat, and ten gallon water tank with sink. EVERYTHING WORKS. It does not have shower or toilet facilities but we can include a porta-potty if needed. The lights and furnace blower run off a car battery (not included) and the furnace and stove can run a long time off the propane gas tank (included). If you plug it into the grid there are many outlets for your appliances both inside and outside. The white vinyl tent is in absolutely flawless condition and the camper is spotlessly clean. You will not find a single dead fly, mouse turd, or speck of dust in this camper. The tires (including the spare) are in great shape. Theres a queen size bed and two double beds, so it can sleep up to six adults if they are cozy. Two adults and four children would be a cinch. The cushion upholstery can be unzipped to be washed, and the curtains are easily removed for laundering. There are no holes in any of the screens and all of the zippers work. The ceiling vent has a fan to improve air flow on hot summer days. Theres lots of storage. Its got a nice floor plan that feels spacious and roomy right up to the moment you cram six people in it.
You would have to look hard to find any flaws in this camper, but Im going to list them here so you can move on to the next camper if you want a camper that has never sheltered noisy boys at scout camp, or taken a trip to a national park, or attended a week-long church retreat, or housed all of the cousins at the family reunion, or harbored the entire team during a rained-delayed softball tournament. If you want a perfect camper, go buy a new one for ten grand and enjoy putting your own dings in it. But if you want a great deal on a pre-dinged camper, heres the list of all the awful flaws:
* The license plate holder on the back bumper is missing.
* There are two small tears in the upholstery of the largest mattress, which have been repaired.
* It can be difficult to slide the two burner stove onto the outdoor railing for cooking outside.
* Theres a small chip in the kitchen countertop about the size of a thumbnail.
* Theres a little ding in the exterior siding on the front of the camper which has been caulked.
* One of the running lights on the side has a crack in it.
* I have no idea what condition the awning is in because we never got that ambitious.
