Canon AE -1 Program 35mm Film Camera


⭕ The Canon AE-1 Program is a great 35mm film camera for beginners, or even experienced film photographers in search for a light-weight camera to take with them on vacations and the like.

It is constructed mostly of plastic, but is very durable. This particular camera is in excellent shape. When I found it, all I needed to do was replace the battery and lubricate the shutter. I have attached some photos from a test roll that I shot with it.

The AE-1 Program can operate with automatic exposure (not auto focus), but in my tests I found it to be not as consistent as manual operation (obviously), but thats not to say the auto function is useless. I recommend beginners to adjust to using a 35mm camera manually for better photos. If you need any assistance using this camera and reading the light meter, I am more than willing to offer advice; however, youtube is also a great resource for such tips.

When using this camera, I recommend over-exposing by at least 1 stop, which goes for almost any 35mm camera.
