Vintage Style Guitar Speaker Cabinet With Eminence GB128


⭕ Up for sale is a custom made vintage style guitar speaker cabinet with speaker. It houses an Eminence Legend GB128 guitar speaker that is, for all intents and purposes, new.
The cabinet is loosely based on detuned design of guitar speaker cabinet building by Kevin OConnor, the author of The Ultimate Tone series of books. One of the modifications that I made was that there is a panel on the back (as shown in the pictures) that can be opened to simulate an open back cabinet sound. The front is angled slightly upward to allow the player to hear the sound better. It has rubber feet on the bottom for cushion. The cabinet is made from 3/4 birch plywood with african padauk trim. The 1/4 jack is the football or boat style found on stratocasters. This was so that it could fit closer to the wall without a 90 degree plug.
The speaker is like new, with just a break-in cycle of 6 hrs at moderate volume at about 30Hz.
I am playing less and less anymore so selling some of the things that are filling up my room.
