⭕ Know what you are purchasing! The purchase price is just the starting point when acquiring a used piano. At any given time there are usually several available privately for a few hundred dollars - however - I have yet to see one that doesnt need AT LEAST that much more in service work. Most havent been tuned in years and havent been regulated in even longer (look for grooves in the strings, side play in the keys and use a straight edge to check how level the keys are for starters). Regulation is critical for a piano to play well. When it plays well its more fun to play and when its more fun to play it gets played more often.

For $80.00 we will thoroughly inspect a piano and let you know BEFORE you buy what work the piano you are considering purchasing will need. If youve already bought, that works too, its just nice to find out beforehand when possible.
