Original Frantone Hep Cat Overdrive


⭕ Very good condition for its age.
Gently used in my home studio since it was new.
Tested and working as it should.

One of the best low/medium gain overdrives out there. An always on effect. Cleans up well with your guitars volume knob.

This is still my favorite overdrive. I owned two of these original Hep Cats and gigged with one for a long time. (This one was the backup that I never ended up needing.) Ive still got one of the newer versions, so its even sillier for me to hang on to this one. I love effects, but Im a player more than a collector.

The original box is long gone, but I did find the original user manual which Ill include. From back when Frantone was still a one woman operation in Pennsylvania!

I dont have the best camera, but I tried to take enough pictures to show the finish well. It does have some nicks and scrapes in the finish and in the silkscreened print, but, hey, its about 20 years old! Finish is still glossy, and it looks really nice on a studio shelf or in front of an amp.
