New Hilo And And Vintage Nordon(?) Ukes


⭕ I have for sale a pair of ukes. The 1st is a standard Hilo soprano. Mahogany, and still all original. The 2nd is a puzzle to me : I think he label says Nordon,but is is very old script and I am not sure. The body and back appears to be a wavy maple, the body id bound front, back , and capped heal. It has mop position markers. The back has a hand carved look, it is not flat and has a gentile curve. It has an extended fret board,and triple bound sound hole. Now for the deficits, the sides at one time were cracked and glued,not a pretty job,but effective. I have had the uke for 5 years and the cracks have remained solidly closed. The tuners are fine but they are replacements. I believe this uke is from the early 40s and has nicks and scrapes. the 12 fret is a replacement and is a little mis matched,but works fine.
