This was only used a couple of times by me. So why am I selling this? I moved from a house to a condo. This deserves to be played not collect dust. Great amp, sounds awesome as a Marshall 50 usually does, be it clean or crunch.

Marshall AVT50HX - features for studio and stage. The AVT50HX has two foot switchable channels for glistening clean tones and a roaring crunch that just oozes vintage authenticity. Crank the Overdrive channels Gain control to the max and you have a contemporary high gain sound that packs an unbelievable punch, staying tight and focused. Tube warmth and solid-state convenience meets digital power In Marshalls quest to give players the ultimate tone at an unbelievable price, they have combined the latest innovations in valve, solid state and digital technologies to achieve optimum sonic performance in the AVT50HX. Valve Drive preamp Every Marshall amp in the AVT line, including the Marshall AVT50HX, boasts a preamp stage that is driven by an ECC83 Dual Triode valve. Unlike other hybrid amps out there, this valve isnt merely acting as a pilot light. Instead it is playing the central role in the gain, distortion and tone generating circuitry. Marshall has gone to great lengths to ensure that this precious device delivers maximum sonic benefit at all settings and volume levels. The resulting clean sounds ring with the bell-like harmonics that only a valve preamp can deliver and the break-up is never harsh or unnatural sounding. Whenever you select an AVT Overdrive channel, the ECC83 is saturated to its limit, providing dynamics and feel worthy of a place in the Marshall hall of fame. Power amp delivery The same unrivaled design expertise that went into the preamp was also channeled into the design of the AVT50HX power stage. Using frequency dependent power amp damping and Marshalls proprietary, dynamic clip level technology (which emulates the HT supply of a valve power amp), each AVT50HX power stage creates the warm, musical feel and 3-dimensional sounds that have made Marshalls all-valve power amps world-renowned. •Amp is in remarkably good condition, looks and works great. Nothing is missing or broken. It has had almost no use, and is free of any dings, dents, gouges, etc. It has plenty of volume, and both channels sound terrific. Includes original Marshall footswitch. This amp was made by Marshall in the UK before they started making amps in Asia.
