Fender Montara Acoustic Electric Guitar


⭕ Up for sale is a really nice, great playing, Fender Montara guitar. I dont like to use the word rare but they are pretty hard to come by and you dont see them for sale often. I am only selling it because out of all my guitars this one doesnt get enough playing time so I would like to see it go to someone who could really use it.

Now, let me say, if you are looking for a pristine museum piece this is not it. Its a player, with the normal wear and tear one would associate with a guitar thats been used but not abused. The neck is nearly identical to a Strats so electric players will find its a very easy jump during a performance. There are a couple very small dings on the front that I tried to get a photo of but its difficult to do, not through the paint either way. The original electronics were replaced by a previous owner, apparently the original pickup system failed, it was replaced by a Dean unit that fits the contour of the guitar perfectly. The pickup system is upside down to match the contour but after a couple uses you get used to it and its all good. Great sound plugged or unplugged, and youll find the built in tuner is a great convenience.

There is very little info on these on the internet...made in Korea sometime between 90-94? There are two of them for sale on Ebay now for more $$ than Im asking plus you have to pay the shipping. Id prefer not to go the Ebay route but I will if this doesnt sell in a reasonable time. Includes everything you see in the photo, EXCEPT the guitar stand. You get the guitar, strap with strap locks, the feedback buster for plugging into the PA, the original electronics (I got them but have no use for them) and the hard shell case.
