Early 1960s USA Made Tube/transistor Amplifier For Sale Or Trade.


⭕ This is a very very early transistor/tube combo amp. As far as I can tell, the power section is tube, but the EQ, tremolo, and reverb are all transistor. Sounds amazing. Great for any sort of clean bluesy kinda music. It doesnt break up really great on its own, but Ive found that you can get some fantastic overdrive out of it by putting a boost in front of it. It also takes pedals nicely, but note that there is no effects loop, so all pedals have to go in front of the amp.

It runs at about 30 watts, but believe me, with a tube power section, that is more than enough. Its got 2 12 inch oxford speakers in it, and at some point in its life has been modified to take a three prong plug for the purposes of safe grounding. Im afraid thats honestly all that I know about the amp. It doesnt have any brand markings anywhere under the channel 2 controls it says delta and under channel 1 it says made in USA. The only way that I came up with that date is by looking at the electronics, and the 1960s may yet be a little more recent than this thing was made. In other words, it could be older. I think that, judging by the electronics and the oxford speakers, its most likely an old silvertone or ampeg, but I have no additional information beyond that, hence the low price on a vintage tube powered amplifier. I may not know exactly what its worth, but I know its at least worth what Im asking and most likely much more.

The price is negotiable but I would really prefer trades. Im open to anything, but Im looking for either a fender or squier telecaster, an SG of some sort, or a full or semi hollow body electric guitar. I would also consider trades for other amps. In that regard, Im really open to anything. Regardless, if you have a trade idea, it doesnt hurt at all to ask. The worst I can say is no.
