⭕ This is a great cello, beautiful and in great condition - perfect for a student ready to see their playing and musicianship leap forward, an aspiring cellist ready for conservatory or university, or professional looking for a solid cello at a reasonable cost.

This cello has a clear voice with good projection, a big deep sound, good responsiveness. It has a nice deep bottom - playing those low notes is a complete joy - and is quite well balanced across its range. This cello has a sophistication and age to its voice that I rarely hear in cellos in this price range. Not only do I think it is a great cello it consistently gets wonderful reviews from other professional players who have both listened to and played it.

It has faithfully and successfully played in many auditions, summer festivals, professional chamber groups, and symphony orchestras including Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra in Seattle and the Fargo Moorhead Symphony Orchestra.

It is a German cello handmade in 1984 by master craftsman Hermann Bachle. It is a 4/4 (full) size cello. Appraised value is $13,000. Price is $10,500.
