⭕ Barn Fresh Jackson Guldin vintage violin - Ready for restore - no major structural damage- only cosmetic scratches, dents and a few cracks that dont show light through - there is no seam separation or damage- nor has the scroll ever been damaged. Jackson Guldin handcrafted American violins in competition with German imported violins from 1915 until 1960 when the company began focusing more on producing Jazzy guitars and toys until 1971 when they closed the doors. My best research on this particular fiddle has it being crafted circa 1930-1940 (based mainly in comparison of like models found online) Most of the newer models have in addition to the First National Institute of Violin decal on the back, a model or makers mark stamped on the inside of the upper F-Hole -- The older ones, including this one, do not. The price is firm if someone wants to restore it quicker than I do... and that is in the works - once restored if I still want to part with it the prices of like models sold, and currently posted online range from $150.00 -- $300.00 + Shipping.
