1956-57 Grundig-Majestic Console Radio Phonograph


⭕ A mid-1956/57 Console - Grundig-Majestic International brand HiFi Stereo AM/FM/International Radio and turn-table record player.
Made between 1956-1957 in West Germany, this stereo console puts out 50-watts, has two built in 4 deep throat-ed front facing speakers, two 2 tweeters and a 9 speaker facing down into the angled lower cabinet, and rear jacks for two more speakers.
The Radio was made by GRUNDIG-MAJESTIC INTERNATIONAL , a fine quality West German Company, and the turn-table is REX Perpetuum Ebner .
Comes with manuals for the entire Console, including schematics, and a 3-speed Ten Record Changer. Check out information at:

This Consoles Radio, Interior Lights, and turn-table work when plugged in, and all controls and knobs seam to work correctly. The Volume control knob is very tight, but that is just from non use, and it does work. This should loosen up with normal use. The FM stereo sounds fantastic!
The turntable is working correctly and it has all the pieces.
This console has been in my family since it was new, and had not been used until recently since 1985 when my Grandmother passed away. Check out the photos! An original new ceramic-fluid needle cartridge was purchased, and the phonograph sounds unbelievable! If you have only heard digitally produced music, YOU HAVENT HEARD MUSIC!
