With years of use left in them, a variety of sizes and thicknesses are available, most made of strong, durable, 3-ply vinyl. Most are 14 wide and 48 long. Theyre tear resistant, UV-protected for longevity, and include mounting pockets all the way around the edges. All have an advertisement on one side, and we carefully inspect each one for damage and potentially offensive ads. If you plan on cutting it up, or dont need one thats waterproof, talk to us about our blemished signs; you can save a few bucks!

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MATERIALS?
Our 3-ply material is constructed of vinyl (PVC) on the outside layers and a denier polyester scrim (mesh) sandwiched between. The mesh allows it to flex under windy conditions and prevents fraying or tearing. There is a UV layer to protect it from sun exposure too. Our most popular vinyl is 10mil thick. Compared to conventional blue tarps at just 5mil thick, ours are twice as strong!
Our woven polyethylene material is constructed very similarly to standard, hardware-store-style tarps, however, it is slightly thicker (6 mil), and the weave is tighter. Additionally, unlike normal tarps, ours are UV protected to provide greater longevity in the elements. Plus, they are BRAND NEW, and were only used to test large-format printers; theyve never been on a billboard sign or exposed to any elements at all!
WHAT IS THE CONDITION OF THE TARPS?
These signs are in great condition with minimal wear expected from outdoor use (generally near the edges). We carefully inspect and fold every retired sign, but occasionally one will have small holes we could not see. These can easily be repaired if necessary with a scrap piece of vinyl and PVC cement glue from the hardware store. Slight dirt or scuffs is normal, and can be wiped off with soap and water. Tarps are sold as is.
IS THE MATERIAL WATERPROOF? HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?
It is 100% waterproof and mildew resistant. The print material is designed to withstand Mother Natures worst. Besides its thickness, the UV-protective layer gives it extra longevity. This means more years of life than conventional blue tarps bought at the hardware store. Some have used their tarps for 3-5 years!
HOW DO I SECURE THE TARP OR TIE IT DOWN?
There are channel pockets/pipe sleeves that run along all four sides of the tarp. This allows you to run pipe, cable or rope through them for even distribution. Most have small notches every few feet along the channel so you attach a cable, rope, or tie-down. These tarps do not have grommets, however, you can easily add them with a grommet kit available at a local hardware store. You can also use Grip-Clips, staples, or other industrial clamps.
IS THERE AN ADVERTISEMENT ON ONE SIDE? There is an advertisement on one side, but the other side is a solid color, usually black for vinyl signs, and light gray for PE signs (solid white may be available for additional cost; please call). All customers are required to keep the advertisement side down, so only the solid side is showing.
CAN THE TARPS BE GLUED TOGETHER TO MAKE A CUSTOM SIZE?
Yes. PVC glue works well if you want to join them together yourself. It is a great adhesive that will make a watertight chemical weld. Weve found that Oatey X-15 Shower Pan Liner Adhesive Cement works best. This can be found at your local hardware store.
WHAT ABOUT VOLUME PURCHASES?
We give a 10% discount for orders of 10 or more. Please provide advance notice from the date you need them to ensure inventory. Larger quantities can be palleted (20-40 per pallet) and shipped for a fee.
WHAT ELSE CAN THEY BE USED FOR?
They have dozens of uses. Your creativity is the only limit!
