Blackfoot Sinker Logs - Get A Piece Of MT History


⭕ Mixed Species sinker logs recovered from behind the Blackfoot Dam near the Bonner, Mill, on the Blackfoot River. People have used these for their timberframes, log homes, pergolas etc. Could also be used for retaining walls, made into slabs (we have done this a bunch), etc.

They have limited grit on outside as some have spent over 100 years in the water. Beautiful and rustic as is, or when wire-brushed and sanded they really clean up. Removed with an excavator, so have some scrape marks on corners/edges that lend to their continued history. Large spikes and easier nails already removed. Occasional hardware may exist but can be metal detected.

most are 10-16 feet long
most are 10-20 diameter, with some MUCH larger
