HONEY BEE PACKAGES


⭕ We are again bringing in Package Honey Bees from Koehnens in California. We will have one delivery point and that will be in Berthoud, Colorado.

The packages will arrive during the third week in April. The packages will contain a FULL THREE POUNDS of live bees and one mated, Italian queen. The queen will be unmarked and not clipped. We do not require any cage deposit as many suppliers do.

The packages will be delivered in top condition. The bees are transported in a specially modified semi truck. This van is equipped to supply a perfect environment for the bees while in transit and the bees will be constantly monitored along the way. Once the bees leave California, the truck will not stop except for fuel and to change drivers. The man transporting the bees is a professional truck driver as well as a long time beekeeper. We have found that care during transportation is a key factor. In past years, poor quality bee packages have arrived from many other suppliers due to improper care during transportation. This is our fifth year and we have never delivered anything less than top quality bees.

To assure delivery of your bee packages, a non-refundable deposit of $10.00 per package will be initially required and full payment will be due before March 10, 2017. As in the past five seasons, we expect to sell out our commitment early, so do not delay.

Please note--We are long time, local beekeepers, but do not give instructions nor do we install packages or tend your bees. Our function is to deliver the best quality package bees possible.

7-19 packages$125.00 each
20 packages or over$124.00 each

As a courtesy, we will also be bringing in top quality Italian queens from Koehnens with the same delivery. The price for queens is $32.00 each.
