View of the Canadian Rockies from the property.The property is bordered on 2 sides by national forest that can only be reached on our road by trespassing on private property. Which no one on this road will give permission for. We like not having strangers hunting near our homes. That is not to say none of us hunt, we do.

We have all the laminated flooring for the upstairs loft but it isnt installed as of yet. The downstairs floor is laminated, the bath is vinyl tiles. We never chinked the house as the logs were cut flat on top and bottom and insulation was applied between the logs. Wood stove keeps the house very warm in Winter and the logs keep is cool in summer. Have not had AC in 16 yrs of living here.The foundation is post. The well is 425 but need to be made 200-300 deeper, as we only have water from Spring until Sept/Oct.Then no water until Spring again, this is why the driller recommends making it deeper. We will consider a lower price if someone is willing to finish the work we have started. Also have all the materials for chinking on hand. The walls are log inside and out. The logs came from the property. The land is 85-90% wooded. Nice neighbors in the area. This place is remote and quiet. Lots of wild life. New post have been installed under the house, along with new steps at both end of the porch. New front windows were installed to replace old single pane windows.
