⭕ The New Freedom Lions Club Yard Sale and Flea Market is an annual event in New Freedom that is a fun outdoor community event that serves the Lions as a fund raiser and benefits the local community in the form of six $1000 scholarships to local high school seniors choosing to further their education.
To Become a Vendor, an application from the club website (www.NewFreedomLionsClub.org) should be printed, completed and mailed with a check for your rental fee. Computer savvy folks can bypass the snail mail by highlighting the application, copying it into a MS Word or Google doc, save it and attach to an email. Choosing this method, you may wish to pay with Pay Pal at the bottom of the home page of the club website (please add $2 transaction fee if paying with Pay Pal). If you are affiliated with a Direct Sales company, you should check to see if another representative from your company has already reserved a space.
This event is called a yard sale but we welcome almost all types of vendors, i.e. crafters, small businesses, and traditional yard salers make up about 90% of our vendors, but we also have volunteer community groups, artists, and even politicians. We offer a family friendly environment with fun activities for the kiddos including pony rides, bounce house, live animal outreach, face painting, pet adoption, live music, and lots of shopping. Facebook users can see this years specific lineup (www.facebook.com/i12battheNFyardsale). There are rental spaces for about 130 vendors, entirely outdoors. Vendors may bring their own shade tents and/or tables for displaying any merchandise or promotional materials, but any fixtures must be confined to the marked boundary of the assigned rental space(s). The rental spaces are 20 x 25 with the exception of about 10 spaces that are 17 x 25. More than one space can be rented by each vendor, first come, first serve. Spaces rent regularly for $25 each, but a surcharge is added for entrants the week of the event because changes in the field layout may be required. Tables are sometimes available for rent, please ask for price and availability.
