We offer units to accommodate every application imaginable, however if you dont see what you need, we will build it. Edwards Implement Co. units are built in America, and we only use parts that are manufactured in America. Our patented STEEL WHEELS is just one of the many things that set us far apart from the competition. Our Carbon Steel wheels are designed to last a lifetime, and they are indestructible. However 50 years down the road, when you pass our unit to your grandchildren, if there is any wear in our wheels, they can be easily built up or repaired, by anyone with any kind of welder, because they are carbon steel. Literally anyone can weld them even with a small wire welder, or even an old Lincoln cracker box welder. Now our competitors will try and convenience you that cast iron wheels have been around for 20 plus years and they will be just fine. But they dont tell you that you can take a small 16 ounce claw hammer and strike it, and it will break like a dinner plate. Also when they wear within a couple years there is no way to repair them. Then replacement wheels start at $125.00 each and a 13 tall . Now back to our quality steel wheels. You can take a 20 pound sledge hammer and beat on our wheels for 30 minutes and with the exception of chipping the paint all your gonna break is your back. And thats a fact, are wheels are almost impossible to damage. Also we have the only Cultipacker on the market that has a warranty what so ever on the wheels themselves. Our warranty covers more than just the wheels, it covers our entire unit, with the exception of the paint and the bearings. And the reason it does not cover bearings is because we use a greaseable American made bearing manufactured by Timken. We recommend that you grease the bearings every time you use our unit. The reason we recommend this is because each time you grease the bearings it pushes existing dirt, grit, and grime out of the bearings. We build ATV Flip over units, 3 Point Hitch units, Quick Hitch Compatible , Drag Style Units, and Hydraulic Travel Axle Units. Our biggest seller is our series 2 which offers the luxury and convenience of 3 Point Hitch & a Removable Drag Style Tongue, you can choose between a drop pin hitch or a 2 ball mount on the removable tongue. We have engineered our units to weigh approximately 100-125 pounds per foot, there is reason our units weigh in that range. If its less than 75 lbs per foot it does not make adequate seed to soil contact. If it exceeds 150 lbs per foot, the seed will be pressed to deep, which increases the chance of the seed not germinating, before it begins to deteirate and rot.
