Vintage Realistic 2-Way Bookshelf Size Stereo Speakers W/Wood Cabinets


⭕ I am selling my pair of vintage Realistic MC-500 stereo bookshelf sixed speakers.

They date from the mid 1970s (1974) into the very early 1980s and were manufactured in Japan.

Each speaker is in in very good cosmetic condition and work flawlessly.
They are made of solid wood (walnut veneer) and feature a mesh grille.

These are wonderful sounding as well as have a superb look to them as well.
They are 2-way, 8-ohm rated speakers with extremely well-sealed and heavy cabinets (certainly for their size).
These speakers have superb bass frequency response as well as power capabilities (40Hz-20kHz).

These were used mainly in my living room, paired with my Marantz 2238B stereo receiver which puts out 38W per channel RMS and they seemed to match beautifully.

Each speaker has a woofer and a tweeter. The woofer measures approximately: 5 in dimeter and the tweeter approximately: 2.5.
They have an impedance of 8 ohm.

Each speaker has speaker terminal connections for bare wire as well as RCA banana plug connectors in the rear, allows for
Overall the speakers measure to be: 9L x 6D x 12H.

I have recently applied a layer of lemon oil stain to the cabinets to bring out some of its original look.
