Pioneer SX 880 Vintage Receiver


⭕ As above Pioneer SX 880 vintage receiver nice right ? A rare bird this one. This was the one we all wanted when we were kids back in the 80s. Twin VU meters bouncing back and forth, Awesome. This one looks nice but is not new, it has its share of scrapes and bumps. All new lamps/light bulbs have been installed. All the controls have been cleaned and lubed, no snap crackle pop. The unit has been cleaned inside. DC offset has been set and is stable. Extra heat sink added to the voltage regulator and has been re-flowed with fresh solder. All the inputs and outputs work, everything works and is ready for a turntable if you like. This is one very nice ready to go rig. When I get one of these units in I go over it and make sure that I feel it will last as they do not and will not make any more of them. This is your 1969 Camaro/Mustang that you always wanted but now its just not affordable. The price of these vintage Hi Fi units keeps going up higher every year. This one looks nice, come see for yourself. You get to listen to it, look it over and make your decision here. Not like buying a picture on Ebay, you hold this one in hand, no surprises at the doorstep when you find a gorilla did the boxing up, loading and unloading somewhere between here and Bumfutk Egypt. Nothing like paying 65.00 shipping to send back a totaled unit just to get your money back right ? As always.. Please do not try to belittle the equipment or me by calling with some ridiculous low ball offer as you will waste your time. I know what it is worth.
