1940's SX-24 Hallicrafters Receiver With Speaker


⭕ Original 1940s? SX-24 Hallicrafters Defiant shortwave receiver with a matching Art Deco speaker. Bandspread and RF and AF level controls with built in switchable ALC. Powered it up and got some low static, but seller does not have aerial so could not get any reception. Tuning and bandspread lights come on and knobs function, receiver light doesnt come on but needle moves. Seller is not familiar with ham radios and doesnt know if unit functions normally with aerial, but seems in great condition with all parts and should be repairable if not. In worst case scenario can be used for parts. Price is cash/firm whether unit works or not. Has a few scratches, some discoloring to metal housing. Some tape on front. Location about 40 minutes northwest of Harrisburg off Rt. 322. Email or call and leave message.
