1987 Buick Turbo T....77k Miles - Cars & Trucks - By Owner - Vehicle Automotive Sale
1987 regal turbo t, its a clean relatively low mileage car at 77k original miles. Its a factory wo2 blackout trim car that came white from the factory ( a very cool color combo basically inverse the grand national). Its a great driver quality car and I daily it in nice weather. The car is very original in many aspects but has also had numerous modifications done for reliability and power. I will try to include everything about the car good and bad, in the following. The turbo t has a clean interior with very nice carpet and seats as well as an impeccable mint condition dash. Headliner sags from age. Original radio unit works great, A/C (not cold) and heat blow, has a 145mph speedo, numerous gauges to monitor the car (including cool old school turbo 6 knock gauge and a handy A-pillar rpm gauge). Has buttons for hi speed fan and a functional line lock in ashtray and along with the scan master is an electronic boost controller. All the cars power options work great including power windows and all the little stuff like brights, wipers, and turn signals etc.. The exterior of the car looks great and the color combo is striking but the paint is old and it shows, in certain areas, the drivers side door handle has some key scuffs around it, and the rear deck spoiler shows age as well as the original rear bumper fillers. Other than that, paint is absolutely drivers quality. The chrome on the car is very nice and doesnt show much wear and overall the body looks clean and straight. Now on to the drivetrain, the motor has been pulled and gone through before and the turbo 6 drives very well, pulls extremely hard and shifts firm. IT DOES NOT LEAK A DROP, a rarity for many of these turbo regals. Rear main seal was done recently and all fluids and maintenance is taken care of. The car has a ta49 turbo built by limit engineering, a powerplate, an oe cam cap, lsmaf translator, new heated o2 sensor and newer crank sensor, 42lb injectors with a matching TT chip, a duttneck intercooler, 3 downpipe, fuel rail adapter and gauge, walboro pump w/ hotwire and k&n cone filter. A vacuum brake conversions already been done to the car and it stops nicely, and i just went through the entire power steering system. Also has a hooker catback exhaust with a cutout and very daily driver friendly mufflers. Trans was rebuilt with CK master kit and has billet drum etc..and a stage right trans brake. 2800 tc rebuilt by dave husek. aluminum driveshaft w/ new front and rear yokes. New posi unit and stock ratio gears. Posi unit whines a bit but its new, needs more break in. Moser street axles and rear airbag setup paired with QA1 adjustable shocks. Sadly i do not have original wheels just the ones on the car with older tires mounted to them. The Buick drives incredibly well and i have enjoyed driving it all the time. Car is pretty tight, doors shut nicely, windows seal, suspension is sound. Only problem with it is a slight vibration at higher speeds, and some rust in the the spare wheelwell in the trunk... however i have all the new replacement parts to fix it, they will come with the car. Have a car fax, clean title, and plenty of receipts and records. It still has the factory spare and jack in the trunk. Even on hot days 105+ the car will never run a touch above 190f and scanmaster and gauge indicate it does not knock at all, runs incredibly well, drivetrain is healthy.... not in a rush to sell.
