⭕ Nuova Simonelli manufactures in the second generation the Appia, called Appia II. It is the reliable workhorse for all espresso coffee extractions in restaurants, hotels, dehli shops, bakeries, caterers, cafeterias etc.. Appia comes in 1 brewing group, in 2 brewing groups and 3 brewing groups. Options are semi-automatic = the barista starts and stops the extraction manually, automatic = the Appia stops to extract after a predefined volume of espresso (measuring the volume, called volumetric), and the Volumetric Appia with Autosteam = the Appia stops to extract after the predefined volume of espresso AND the steam shuts off when the foamed milk reaches the set value (default = 140 F). If you have or you anticipate a lower load per day than 60 espresso based beverages (espresso straight and all latte based coffee beverages), we are more than happy to recommend you alternative machines, less expensive with the same result. With other words, less than 60 beverages per day, the Appia II even as a 1-group (Semi-Automatic at $ 3,510 as advertised) is over sized. If you want to use the Appia on the go in a trailer or where you do not have a plumbed fresh water source, we have a solution for you as well. Standard color is black with stainless steel, options are red and cream, those are built to order at request.

It is very important to feed the espresso machine only with water comprising a low value of calcium. Prior to installation, we will discuss with you what needs to be done that your plumbed water system does not harm your espresso machine (please keep in mind that the early death no.1 of espresso machines is too high calcium level in the water which causes scaling inside of the machine, followed by overheating and damage).

If you need a financing, no problem.

Many owners and barista under perform the espresso shots and latte based beverages: Because they dont know better. Sorry this is our experience, not nice to say, but realistic. To make the most out of your espresso machine investment and to be better compared to your competitors, we offer our remote barista training. This training is unlimited and comes with the purchase of your machine as long as you own the machine.

We not only sell you the machine, we also help you to maintain the machine: Life expectation of a maintained Simonelli Appia is 10+ years. For the unlikely event of a need of repair (warranty or after warranty) our local team will take care of your machine. We offer 2 years parts and 1 year labor warranty against manufacturers defects. As mentioned above, scaling of espresso machines is NOT a warranty matter and the operators liability.
