⭕ This boat is ready to fish today, it needs nothing (maybe a little cleaning) and I would not hesitate to take it to CA or further or fish the ocean right now. Yes, it can run in cold or freezing winter weather and the heater is wonderful. This Snake River Cadillac makes fishing the big rivers like the Clearwater, Snake, Columbia, and Salmon fun and running skinny water worry free. It is equally at home for ocean fishing and easily outfitted to go tuna fishing. It is a pleasure to run and not a maintenance intensive boat so you can enjoy using it, not working on it.

This 2003 Weldcraft Sabre Hardtop Inboard Jet Boat has the heavy duty Hamilton 212 Jet Pump with stomp grate and turbo impeller for hauling heavy loads (310 hours) and Marine Power 5.7 liter (350 CI Chevy) (440 hours) V-8 with 310 horsepower. It will carry 4 persons with a full load of gear at 28 mph (3600 RPM) and can comfortably run in 8-10 inches of water. The hull will handle 2-3 foot waves on step as it has power trim tabs to adjust the plane angle of the boat to water conditions. The half hardtop is especially comfortable while fishing on a rainy day and the Hi deck with 2 rear facing swivel chairs make trolling with downriggers a pleasure. Excellent mechanical condition, excellent hull (no damage) and good appearance. I change the oil each spring using full synthetic Mobil #1 and change both oil filters regardless of hours used and I grease the jet pump thrust bearing each time I go out or every 5 hours of run time using Mobil #1 synthetic grease. This is especially true with a jet boat; a cheaper boat will have less horsepower, less jet pump than a Hamilton 212, cheaper built frame and thinner aluminum hull, and less basic equipment than is needed to enjoy fishing. This boat has thousands in upgrades and fishing/boating equipment to make fishing a pleasure. Do the math; a new base boat will cost $75K and over $100K as equipped.

The boat has been used in the ocean salt water but never moored overnight. It has had daily launches in the ocean and usually rinsed with fresh water daily and thoroughly desalted after each trip. There is no salt water corrosion on this boat. A boat that has been moored or docked on a lake for a couple weeks or more will have more corrosion damage than this boat. This motor has a closed cooling system so only anti freeze goes into the motor like a car. Outside water is pumped into the heat exchanger to cool the antifreeze (like air cools anti freeze in a car radiator) and then the water pumped out the exhaust. I run the motor in a fresh water lake after using it in the ocean to flush the heat exchanger and exhaust ports thereby precluding corrosion damage from salt water. Also the heat exchanger system is self draining so it does not retain outside water when not running to preclude corrosion damage and also no water in it so it cannot freeze and break the heat exchanger manifolds.

Boat as ordered: Chevy 350 CI Vortec V-8, 310 HP, half hardtop cabin (nice during wet weather), sliding smoked glass side windows, walk thru windshield, high rear fishing deck and full guard rails, self bailing bow, suspension ride swivel front seats, cabin bench seats sealed for watertight storage and makes into a double bed, cabin interior painted or carpeted. Came with Berkley jet pump that was replaced as it was too small for the boat.

1. $11,000.00 Hamilton 212 jet pump, turbo impeller for power, Hamilton stomp grate option to clear grate blockage, especially handy when seaweed or gravel gets sucked into the intake grate. Pump was inspected and serviced last fall. The pump has less than 360 hours on it as it replaced the original American Turbine pump that was too small for the boat.

This trailer is overkill for the boat but very nice as no trailer issues while traveling on extended trips. It has been on the Alcan to AK 3 times (2500 miles) each trip.
