Transition TransAM HOPE FOX I9 Hubs (TRADE) Canoe / Camera / SUP


⭕ This is an unbelievable custom build. But I acquired a newer, more expensive bike and Im really not in financial shape to hold onto multiple builds despite being in love with this one :) I put this together about 1.5 years ago; it has some newer parts, some older (the Industry Nine Wheels are a few years old), but Im a 38-year-old ride who doesnt huck or abuse his bikes. Not to say jumping is bad! But I use my body for work so Im a pretty cautious rider. Anyway, the goods (Note: I will BREAK up the bike if, eg, you want the wheels, etc)

TransAM frame - Medium. Im 511 and it fits great for me, but it could work with a much shorter rider depending on style
Industry Nine (i9) Hubs with 26 Mavic wheels - when youre not pedaling, people will know youre behind them!
Hope Brakes -- these things have terrific modulation and power (look at those rotors!)
Fox Float 32 Fork -- excellent shape, rides as new. This is the tapered steerer type (the frame is the newer/bigger headtube). Uncut
Shimano Saint Crankset
Thomson Seatpost
WTB Seat
RaceFace Stem / Bars

Gearing: Shimano 1x10 System with a 30t RaceFace NarrowWide up front and a 10-36 in the back. This gives you all the variability to go fast and get up climbs.

All these parts add up to a lot. This would make a bombproof first bike for someone (ie, big discount) or a great bike for an expert rider. The only real signs of use are along the chainstays, but this is a steel bike so some scratches are of zero concern.

TRADES: I recognize not everyone has this much money lying around for a bike. I have a photography side business so Im always open to gear. If you have something, let me know. It would need to be full-frame glass or maybe a Sony/Canon/Nikon body (preferably full frame). Please dont offer me some old Canon Rebel.

I also would be interested in other sporting goods like a solid whitewater Canoe (like a Blackfly compact style) or a Paddleboard
