For 2013, the Specialized sub-brand Globe made just 250 of these $1,750, nickel-plated bikes. And by the end of October 2012, nearly all of them had been presold to dealers. The reason for the rush on the Rare: For this limited-edition model (there will be more Rare Globes, but never another just like this one).
