RANS Tailwind Barn Find


⭕ Story goes: Fellow won in a raffle while visiting the RANS aircraft plant. For those that dont know RANS also built recumbent bicycles back then in addition to Aircraft. He took it home rode it a time or two and not being really into bicycles he stored it at his business in an upstairs room thinking he would come back to it. It set for years (see picture of bike covered in storage photos). I believe his story although it may have been a factory demo. Bottom line is it is just like new with very, very, very little use. He damaged the left side decal and put a small scratch on the left fork (I touched up) with a cheap bike rack bring it home. I bought the bike to sell. Placed two new tires on it, test rode it. Required only minor adjustment. This bike was the reasonably aero dynamic and the predecessor to the RANS Velocity Square. Comfortable lively ride.
