Brand NEW Custom Folding Bicycle - Montague X90 St Thomas Islander
The SwissBike Swiss Military® X90 frame is designed around a patented folding system. This design means you dont need to break the frame in order to fold the bike. Not only does this make it easier to fold, but it makes Montague bikes the strongest folding bike on the market. The Folding Integrated Technology (F.I.T.) is based around the same frame construction concepts as serious full suspension downhill bikes.

This bike has a fully enclosed 8 speed Shimano Alfine hub for smooth elegant worry free operation. It has disc brakes for sure stopping power and adjustable steering and seatpost height quick release levers. The bike folds in half in 20 seconds into a compact unit which can fit in a car trunk, aboard a small boat or be carried onto a ferry or safari bus. The frame and fork are aluminum alloy to be light weight and rust free even in salt air. The entire bike is assembled to last a lifetime using new top quality components.
We build a quality Dynohub (hub electric generator) into the front wheel of the Islander to supply a constant 6 volts of power to ultra bright LED head & tail lights. These lights are on in the daylight to enhance visibility in traffic and at night the bright LEDs light up the roadway ahead like the beam of a cars headlight. You never have to change batteries or think twice about turning the lights on or off.
In addition to the features listed above, the Islander also comes with a new waterproof carbon fiber saddle and a two legged kickstand for easy parking.
For rider comfort we have added a Montague Octagon Steering System to adjust the height of the handlebars for different riding styles and a flat mountain bike handlebar with comfortable grips.
The headset is a sealed bearing FSA 1 1/8 and the steering stem and seat post are manufactured by Ritchey.
The end result is a top quality bicycle that is not only utilitarian, it is also super fun to ride. With the folding feature, you can take the Islander with you everywhere whether it is to work, shop or play.
