Strat Guitar For Trade


⭕ This custom stratocaster was made by the luthier at hollywood guitars in los angeles.

It is a high quality guitar and is better sounding than any fender American standard strat that I have played. I would put it up against fenders custom shop line.

It is a one piece solid mahogany guitar body with a rosewood fretboard and flamed maple neck.

The theory behind the one piece body is that sound travels better along the woods grain versus resonating through the glue used to laminate the pieces of wood together. Unfortunately most production line guitars are laminated pieces of wood.

This guitar also has more sound possibilities with the addition of two toggle switches and a push pull tone knob.

This custom wired pickguard has 14 different pickup combinations. Hand scatter wound Prima pickups, Boruns pots and a Obbligato .047 Gold high end audio cap.

The bridge pickup is Alnico 5 at 10.5k, the middle is 7.6k it has Alnico 5 on the wound strings and Alnico 2 on the unwound. The neck is 8k with Alnico 5 on the wound strings and Alnico 2 on the unwound.

The switch is 5 way, normal Strat wiring except the single coils see 250k and the humbucker sees 500k. This is done by using a resistor on the lugs for the middle and neck pickups.

This has two mini toggle switches. One closest to the volume is a neck on switch which puts the neck on in any position on the switch. The other mini switch is to coil tap the humbucker.

The volume has a treble bleed circuit and is 500k

Tone 1 is a push/pull. This is the tone control for the humbucker. When pulled up it puts the middle pickup out of phase.
Tone 2 is 500k also. This the tone for the middle and neck pickup.

The neck has a beautiful tiger flame maple with a rosewood fretboard.
The frets are like new.
The pickups are hand wound and made in the USA.
The wiring harness is made by Kelling sound
The tuners are fender locking tuners.
The bridge as well as the other hardware are from a fender American strat plus

This guitar has been made with all top quality components and will rival guitars much more expensive than what I am asking.
