⭕ Im looking to sell my classic shark-nose BMW e23 7-series. Its in probably the best original and unrestored condition of almost any 35+ year old car out there. Im the 3rd owner, the owner I bought it from had owned it since the early 90s and provided me records on the car since new. He also had kept the car for sentimental reasons and for the last 10 years it had been kept in a storage unit, while this was great for keeping the body in great shape, it wasnt so good on all things rubber so I replaced a goodly portion of anything rubber I could find, all new fuel lines, brand new tires (under 500 miles), etc. I also replaced all spark plugs, spark plug boots, wires, and distributor cap. The car developed a small oil leak while it was sitting in storage, Im guessing its a gasket but I havent gotten around to fixing that.

It has original 17 inch Borbet wheels which if youre up on your vintage wheels youll know theyre worth a few dollars so even if theyre not your style you can likely make a profit by selling them.

The car handles like a dream and cruises perfectly at highway speed. It currently has a small hiccup in its idle at lower RPMs like when idling in gear at a stoplight and the RPMs drop, it possibly has to do with the idle air sensor but really not certain about it. It has a couple of small dings in the paint, but the paint is really quite good. The only other issue I can think of off the top of my head is that the speedometer isnt working, I drove it 95% of the time around town and just judged my speed by everyone else and so didnt fix it but from reading in forums online it seems to be a common problem of a couple wires in the back of the unit come loose and just need soldered back.

If it seems like Im pointing out everything wrong with the car, I am, haha. I think you can see for yourself the good far outweighs the bad just by looking at the photos. This car is gorgeous, really the only reason Im selling it is I feel bad not using it for a daily driver and want to see it being driven on a regular basis.
