Toyota Tacoma Truck Shell (cap)


⭕ Truck cap fits a 1998 thru 2004 Toyota Tacoma extra cab truck bed. It will only fit an extra cab version is what I was told. The shell is made from some kind of polymer (plastic)-not fiberglass. This particular construction was known to crack in the same places near the windows. This has been repaired-there is no structural compromise. The red color seems to be part of the plastic vs. painted. the clear coat is worn off for the most part.The shell is not beautiful but isnt bad looking either. I would say its in good condition. Windows and screens are good and functioning. Front window slider to the cab slider. The cap/bed gasket was replaced with an burly after market foam job that seals well-fairly new. The rear door lift shocks were replaced last year. 2 keyed locks on rear door, one works well and the other locks, but needs the inside lever replaced (still available for a few bucks). It is on my truck so I would remove it and put it on yours. If you are looking for something simple to keep your stuff secure and out of the weather this may be the one. There are tons of these trucks out there, but not many caps for sale. This will probably move fast. Thanks for checking it out!
