1970 to 1980 Casting #3951511
4 Bolt Main 3 Freeze plugs
COMPLETE REBUILD INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
- Thorough cleaning and inspection
- Block bored .030-honed for hyperutectic flat top pistons (TRW )
- Block interior coated with damp proof red coating
- Block decked .010
- Oil gallery plugs tapped, threaded plugs installed
- Original crank shaft is standard polished and champhered
- Chrommoley piston ring set (TRW)
- New rod & main bearings (CLEVITE)
- New hi-volume oil pump. 1 9/16 gears (MELLING)
- COMPCAM#12-211-2 grind #CS270 H-10 matching valve spring, umbrella oil seals.
- New RHODES hydraulic lifters, GM heavy duty rocker arms.
- C.I. Heads #458642 . Hard seats, 3 angle valve grind. Intake manifold light flow ground to match heads.
- C.I. GM intake manifold 4V
- New steel flywheel to match external balance of the 400 SB engine (HAYS)
Engine has less than 2000 miles and is broke-in currently pickled and in dry storage.
NOTE: All parts are made in USA
