VW Sandrail Sand Rail Dune Buggy


⭕ This is a 2 seat VW 1600 dual port powered sandrail in good running condition:

- Engine is a strong running VW dual port 1600 and it sounds great with the fitted exhaust (see links below to hear it run)

- Balance of running gear also VW of uncertain vintage

- Rear brakes only

- Fuel tank was new from Bug Performance in Sacramento when I purchased the rail and is spotless on the interior (no need to worry about clogged lines/filter while out running)

- Seats are Jaz Pro Stocks in great shape apart from a missing vinyl section in the seat area of the passenger side

- Lap belts installed on both sides

- New bar mounted LED headlamps recently installed and are very bright! (see picture)

Maintenance performed during my ownership:

- New struts (4)
- New plugs
- New wires
- New cap/rotor
- New coil
- Brake lines recently bled

Ive owned this rail for two and a half years during which its seen light use on my property only. I replaced the battery when I first bought it but it went dead while sitting last winter and will no longer hold a charge. A new battery is all thats needed for this to be a superb affordable entry into desert running fun!
