Charoite
With its pearly luster and swirling patterns of lavender, purple and lilac, charoite has quickly become a popular gemstone with jewelers. Found only in the Siberian area of Russia, the beautiful purples and chatoyant white swirls create truly beautiful unique cabochons, beads and carvings. The material polishes to a high gloss and is in very high demand. Some collectors like to polish one face on a rock and leave the rest in its rough state because the contrast can be quite dramatic.
Healers use charoite to balance the crown chakra. They believe this material can help people overcome fear and put things in perspective, learn acceptance which can reduce stress and worry, achieve a more relaxed state, reduce compulsive behavior, and overcome a sense of alienation or frustration.

I offer this in rough rock, though many of them have at least one cut side. This is old stock from Russia--not the Russian leftovers or lower quality Chinese material that has been seen on Ebay in recent years.
