Harman Dvc-500 Coal Stove


⭕ I have a Harman dvc-500 coal stove/burner/heater. Burns rice coal. We have used this for about 8 years, and it has many, many more years of service.
Had no issues heating our 3 story, 2200 sq ft home, even at 30 below zero we did not max out its capabilities.
Just this week I tore it down, clean and tested all 4 motors. 2 are new this past season. Parts are readily available, at least from from where I live, at a quarter mile down the road.
I cant remember the btu output, but its close to 75,000 or so.
This is a direct vent, built into the unit. We chose this because no chimney needed, and our house being 35 ft tall. All that is needed outside is a 6 ft candy cane pipe.
What this stove needs:
A new circuit board. $200 at the Harman shop down the road. I can replace it easy enough at your cost.
A can of black stove paint. We placed water to add humidity on the stove this last season. Not a smart choice, pans leaked and caused some rust. So its been sanded and ready for a new coat. I may do this myself if time allows.
Outside t. A couple of the outside pieces may need replacing.
Front glass may need replacing. it cracked, not all the way thru when I was cleaning it.

gaskets have all been replaced. new silicone for the burn pot applied.

this stove with gold trim new is about $4500. knowing it needs a few items to be too knotch, Im asking $1400 cash.

Why am I parting with it? Im changing location of the stove, and this one just wont work in the new place.
