Vintage Tiara Punch Bowl Set


⭕ Vintage Tiara punch bowl set. This is the original, complete set and includes glass punch bowl, 12 (6 oz.) glass footed cups, also black plastic cup hooks and one black plastic ladel.

Although Tiara sold a few different punch bowl sets over the years, this frosted Provincial punch bowl set was never available for purchase; it was only available as a hostess gift in 1980 and they only made the set available that one year. The glass is opaque and has a white frosted finish. Its perfect for wedding receptions, graduation parties, baby and bridal showers and holiday parties!

Tiara Exclusives was started in 1970 to take advantage of the home party craze that was happening at the time, following the lead of companies like Home Interiors, Tupperware and Mary Kay, and they marketed their various lines of glassware until 1998. Tiara never made any glass themselves; they contracted with several different companies to make their glass, the largest of which was the Indiana Glass Company.

When Tiara introduced their first line, the Sandwich pattern, in 1970, they used molds that were originally designed in the 1920s by the Indiana Glass Company. Due to that fact, and the fact that many of the other glass companies they contracted with had been around many years before, many people mistakenly think Tiara Exclusives started much earlier than just 1970.
