Stunning Antique 1820 Solid Maple Four Poster Rope Bed


⭕ What a beautiful, charming piece of history this is! From 1820, this solid maple four poster bed is what was called a rope bed. Though it has been modified underneath to hold a boxspring, the side rails still have the holes for the pegs AND we have the pegs!! They would put the pegs in and wind rope around them and back and forth across the bottom and use that rope net as a boxspring. If you want to own a truly antique piece, this is one to come and see for yourself!

Go across the railroad tracks and straight through the light, straight through the next light and youll come to a stop sign. Go straight through the stop sign, up the steep slope and the road will almost immediately curve to the right and we are about two blocks down on the Northeast corner of Myrtle and Main.
