Snooker Table : 5' X 10' Antique Brunswick Anniversary

⭕ RARE : 5 X 10 Antique Brunswick -- Balke -- Collender Company 1947 Regulation Anniversary Snooker Table

Heres your chance to own a piece of history without the huge price tag. The kids have all moved and we need the space. Anyone who has ever played Snooker knows ::::: Once youve mastered this size table you are a shark on regular tables!

The table is in excellent condition for its age, no damage and everything works properly. Slate has no damage and will include the bees wax for re-installation. This table has NEVER been restored and has great patina.

We can help disassemble and loading of the light parts. Will need at least 3 other people to load the 3 slate pieces as very heavy.

Including everything we have for the table (also see pictures) :

Two (2) sets Snooker Balls (one is older clay type balls)
One set 8 Ball
Tip Repair Kit
10 Cues
Bridge
Brush
Chalk
Rack

Outside Measurements are : outside to outside 5 8.5 X 10 5 and height is 32. Normally you would want to have 5 distance all the way around the table. In a perfect world your room would be 21 X 16 but could use the short cue if needed (wall or support posts) for a bit smaller area.

Felt is green (may look blue in some pictures due to flash) and in good shape
3 piece thick heavy slate
Cue racks on both sides of table
Heavy duty frame
Fast active rails

The below information was copied and pasted from the Brunswick site. Just a bit of history on the company

Brunswick was founded by John Moses Brunswick who came to the United States from Switzerland at the age of 15. The J. M. Brunswick Manufacturing Company opened for business on September 15, 1845, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Originally J. M. Brunswick intended his company to be mainly in the business of making carriages, but soon after opening his machine shop, he became fascinated with billiards and decided that making billiard tables would be more lucrative, as the better tables then in use in the United States were imported from England. Brunswick billiard tables were a commercial success, and the business expanded and opened up the first of what would become many branch offices in Chicago, Illinois in 1848. It was later renamed J. M. Brunswick & Brother by 1871, after a family member came on board, and the companys rather hyperbolic slogan at this time was: The oldest and most extensive billiard table manufacturers in the United States.[8]

In 1874, the Brunswick company merged with competitor Great Western Billiard Manufactory owned by Julius Balke to become the J. M. Brunswick & Balke Company. It was incorporated in 1879 with a capital stock of $275,000, the same year it merged with another competitor, H. W. Collender Company of New York City (founded by Hugh W. Collender), to acquire Collenders patented billiard cushions. In 1884, the partners formed the Brunswick-Balke-Collender Company (or B.B.C. Company for short[9]) with capital of $1.5 million
