Black Walnut Dining Table + 8 Chairs


⭕ Black Walnut drop leaf dining room table with 8 chairs and 3 extension leaves.

Table has seating room for 10 people. 8 chairs are included. Selling as one set, as is.

The table has metal claw feet, a smooth gear mechanism, simple mechanism for the drop leaves, and many size options. One or both of the side leaves can be dropped down. There are also 3 additional extension leaves that can be added. The table was made in Springfield, MO by the Queen City Wood Works Company. Newspaper advertisements date this small company to be operating in the 20s.

Main part of table with sides dropped down measures approx 26 x 42 (Pic 4)
Each side drop leaf is approx 16 so when those are up, the table measures approx 58 x 42 (Pic 5)
Each extension leaf is 9 so when those are in, the table measures approx 85 x 42 (Pic 1)

There are 2 sets of 4 chairs that are being sold with the table. The 2 sets are not identical but similar in design and style. One set has a stamp on the underside showing an order date of 1956 and also has the manufacturers stamp, Craddock from Evansville, IN. The other set has a stamp but it is illegible.

This is a beautiful and versatile dining set. As with any furniture of this age, there are minor scratches, scuffs, etc. There is a watermark stain from the bottom of a glass (see last picture). We are located about 30 miles west of Sioux Falls. Pictures do not do this set justice!
