Beautiful Antique 18.5 Mira Music Box With Stand And 31 Disc's - Antiques - By Owner - Collectibles Sale


⭕ The last Pat. date is 1889 on this Mira Music Box, it plays 18.5 discs. This Box has NO missing teeth on its combs. It has speed control and start/stop levers. It is in beautiful condition and plays beautifully with that distinct and desirable Mira sound quality. It comes with the stand (which is described below) and 31 nice discs in great condition.

I think that the music box has been professionally serviced at some point in the past, as well as the mechanism, and both were done very, very, well. You be the judge.

The music box base was, I believe, originally for a Stella. It is a darker color then the music box and the interior has been slightly modified to hold the slightly larger 18.5 Mira discs compared to the 17 Stella discs. It is very ornate and can be displayed anywhere in the room. Although this is in excellent shape, it has marks and wear as one would expect from a music box stand of this age and use.
