Antique Ladies Writing Desk


⭕ This elegant, petite (measures about 30 wide, 15 deep, and 39 tall) slant lid drop front desk stores compactly against the wall when not in use. It features a gently curved pull out drawer, a 28 X 13 work surface, and an array of 8 cubbies for storage of stationary, correspondence, and other supplies. It is beautifully finished in Birds Eye maple.

Made by The Cron-Kills (C-K) Company of Piqua, Ohio in the early 1900s this piece is in remarkably good condition. There are no structural problems other than a slight bow in the lid which prevents the lock from engaging. Cosmetically, there are two blemishes to the top surface and the stain is worn from the edge of the lid. These minor defects are shown in the last three pictures.

This lovely desk is available for inspection at your convenience. Buyer pick-up is preferred but, if necessary, delivery arrangements can be made for a fee.
