1950s 60s Tube Audio Test Equipment Oscilloscope VTVM Signal Generator


⭕ I am selling an exceptional set of American made vintage electronic test equipment which has been professionally serviced, calibrated and in 100% working condition. These three components which are increasingly rare even when used only as display pieces, are unique in both their cosmetic and physical condition plus original operational capability. These consist of a very early 1951 U.S. Navy Model OS-8BU oscilloscope built by Hickock Instruments. The RCA model WV-98C Senior VoltOhmyst vacuum tube multimeter VTVM and the model WA-44C Sine Square Wave 2 Mhz function generator were both made in the early/mid 1960s. The total of approximately 18 tubes used in these units are all original US types tested in new condition. Any passive components requiring replacement such as capacitors and resistors are exact vintage types either professional grade or the obviously Mil-Spec types in the 500 Khz range scope. Accessories such as the original RCA probe and all BNC cabling and adapters is included. The superb working condition of these units allow them to still serve as a representative state of the art test bench setup spanning the golden age of HiFi tube audio. Because of their high input impedance, VTVMs are of course still the preferred choice for critical measurement of grid circuits and tuned RF radio service. The low distortion sine and accurate square wave output of the signal generator is displayed beautifully in the very fine trace, non blooming and low hour use CRT of the oscilloscope. For the electronics engineer, Glass audio collector or reseller, or anyone restoring tube guitar amps, radios or hifi I am selling these components locally for $50 each or as a set for $140 CASH.
